ನಮಗೆ ಪುಸ್ತಕಗಳು ನೆನಪಾಗುವುದು ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ಮಾತ್ರ, ಕೆಲಸದ ನೆನಪಾಗುವುದು ಗಡುವುಗಳು ಬಂದಾಗ ಮಾತ್ರ, ಸಮಯದ ನೆನಪಾಗುವುದು ಹುಡುಗಿ ಪದೇ ಪದೇ "ಎಲ್ಲಿದೀಯಾ???" ಎಂದು ಕಿರು ಸಂದೇಶ ಕಳಿಸಿದಾಗ ಮಾತ್ರ. ಅದೇ ರೀತಿ ಕನ್ನಡ, ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ನೆನಪಾಗುವುದು ನವೆಂಬರ್ ಬಂದಾಗ ಮಾತ್ರ! ನವೆಂಬರ್ ಮುಗಿದರೆ ಮುಂದಿನ ವರ್ಷದವರೆಗೆ ನಿದ್ರಾವಸ್ಥೆಯನ್ನು ಹೊಕ್ಕಿಬಿಡುತ್ತೇವೆ. "ಇರುವೆ"ಯ ಮೂಲಕ ವರ್ಷವಿಡೀ ಕನ್ನಡ, ಕನ್ನಡತನವನ್ನು ಜಾಗ್ರತವಾಗಿಡುವ ಆಶಯ ನಮ್ಮದು. ನೀವೂ ಕೇವಲ ನವೆಂಬರ್ ಕನ್ನಡಿಗರೇ?
